The profession of private hire vehicle (PHV) driver is regulated by law no. 2014-1104 and article L3120-4 of the Transport Code.

Each driver must hold a professional licence obtained after training and examination, and comply with strict safety and fare transparency standards. The final price is always determined before the journey, thereby guaranteeing total transparency and avoiding any nasty surprises for the customer.

Tolls, parking fees and any specific access charges are not included, unless otherwise stated in the quote.

On the other hand, if at the customer's request there is a change to the route displayed on the GPS, the addition of a stop, or a change to the drop-off location, the initially agreed transport price will be increased. The driver may, depending on the current schedule, accept or refuse depending on the situation. This regulation complies with Article L.3122-1 of the French Transport Code.
